Since
I last updated the site I have been very busy in work and not had much time to
work on the car.
Over
the last month I've managed to put a lot of hours into the build and here are a
few pictures of the build progress.

As
you can see from this picture the passenger side bodywork is now fitted and the
exhaust manifold has been made.
This
is a close up of the modified Calibra manifold. This is just a case of cutting,
bending and welding using the trial and error method until you are happy with
the position of the tube.

And again from the front.

The
welds haven't been ground down yet as I haven't pressure tested them to check
for holes. Once this has been done the headers will be wrapped in a Kevlar wrap
to keep engine bay heat to a minimum.
The
next challenge was mounting the alternator. I wanted to utilise the original
mount incorporating the rubber bushes and after some more trial and error I had
the perfect bracket.

After
all the cutting and welding it was nice to do a bit of work on the loom. I made
the battery clamps then made the battery leads using 4awg cable. I have fitted
a battery master switch as an additional security device.
